We have three developments that were wired for cable television back in the 1980's.  Comcast the local provider is asking us to sign a Service agreement for each development which includes a compensation payment to the Owner for signing of $50.00 per unit.  Is anyone aware of any prohibition against a PHA accepting this compensation?

    Lee,

I'm not aware of anything.  I wouldn't think it would be much different than a cell tower lease or offering tenants a reduced cable rate for having Comcast be a provider.  Is Comcast going to re-wire the structures to bring the service up to date?

    Take Care-
